Angry 'Black' Woman Syndrome
Address it and resolve it!
WHY IS SHE SO MAD?
ABWS or ANGRY 'BLACK' WOMAN SYNDROME has reached to the heights in recent months and years. The most extreme side effect of such a condition is now said to be death. In the case of Sandy Bland police and officials are saying it was her "arrogance", "non compliance" and her "smart mouth" that caused her later fatal routine traffic stop to escalate. Some have outright alluded to her having ABWS as the cause of death. A quick search will bring back a myriad of videos, articles and questions aimed at the 'Black' Woman's anger.
In my new book I take a look at 'black' women in the media. Her anger issues and what possibilities are out there for her healing.

'Black' women both the highly influence and the everyday sister have been labeled as angry, it is a term used to slander, discredit and dismiss the 'black' woman claims, her issues or indifference to marginalization. This practice serves to further fuel her anger and exasperate the situation. Such is the case for so many sisters and the results of her using ABWS to cope often results in broken homes, fatherless children, torn relationships and in this extreme case death.
So what is up with women who have anger issues and why do 'black' women get singled out and demonized for such a human emotion? When the tragic event happened with Sandy Bland I was well on my way to discovering this topic of ABWS. This event has refueled my desire to further the public discussion on ANGRY 'BLACK' WOMAN SYNDROME.
I have just finished the book title ANGRY 'BLACK' WOMAN SYNDROME: REVISITED, this publicationwill be the forerunner for SOULONOMiCS 101: A DIY GUIDE FOR SOUL IMPROVEMENT.
ABWS Revisited takes a candid look at this epidemic as it is portrayed in the media, it also opens the dialogue to speak to 'black' woman on a soul level. This topic is so timely and the inspiration to write this book has come at just the right moment. I pray the words are received in the same way in which they were written, with love.
